About CBM

As one of the largest custom and diverse precision machine/fabrication shops in the southeast, CBM offers a full line of CNC machining/milling, gear cutting, welding and fabrication equipment. Our facility includes 22 over-head cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 100,000 lbs. We are located 1.5 miles off of I-85 in a state of the art facility of 200,000 square feet on 65 acres. CBM is situated a mere 20 minutes from a major international airport, and three hours from “Port of Entry”.

Advanced 5-Axis Horizontal Multi-Task Machining

We continue to diversify our machining capabilities. We will be adding to our arsenal of machines an “Integrex E-670H II”, which will enable CBM to have state-of-the-art 5-Axis CNC machining capabilities on a very large scale.

The capacities of the Integrex E-670 are as follows: 42.13” OD x 240” long. (Max Weight: 15,500 Lbs). This is one the largest fully integrated 5-Axis CNC machines found on the east coast.

With 5-Axis simultaneous machining CBM will be able to produce conical shaped parts, spiral bevel gears, integral blades, gear hobbing, multi-faceted shafts with angular boring, and deep hole boring up to 96” in length. These are just few of the capabilities that the Integrex E-670H II will provide.

The machine depicted in the video has the same swing with regards to OD (42.13”), but it is shorter in length with regards to bed size of 172” (CBM bed length 240”).
