About CBM

As one of the largest custom and diverse precision machine/fabrication shops in the southeast, CBM offers a full line of CNC machining/milling, gear cutting, welding and fabrication equipment. Our facility includes 22 over-head cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 100,000 lbs. We are located 1.5 miles off of I-85 in a state of the art facility of 200,000 square feet on 65 acres. CBM is situated a mere 20 minutes from a major international airport, and three hours from “Port of Entry”.

Roll Transport Trailers

CBM can custom build and repair roll transport trailers to meet any customer need. Each trailer can be outfitted with a solid state 24 volt DC powered remote steering system, which creates greater transport flexibility. Trailers can also be engineered to meet weight requirements up to 100,000 lbs. Each trailer is tested and all load capacities are certified. The final product can be custom painted to any specification the customer desires.

Custom Roll Saddle Stands

CBM makes custom built roll saddle stands to customer specifications in any weight, any size and any height for paper mill roll storage or handling during maintenance. The roll stands pictured will handle rolls up to 100,000 lbs.

CBM “Doctor Blade Puller”

We have engineered and tested a user friendly “Doctor Blade” puller that will enhance mill safety when removing doctor blades.

The standard size puller is 38 inches long and weighs a mere 11.8 pounds; it is extremely resilient and withstands an array of different loads. This “Doctor Blade Puller” can be custom machined to a wide variety of lengths and weights to meet just about any mill application.
