About CBM

As one of the largest custom and diverse precision machine/fabrication shops in the southeast, CBM offers a full line of CNC machining/milling, gear cutting, welding and fabrication equipment. Our facility includes 22 over-head cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 100,000 lbs. We are located 1.5 miles off of I-85 in a state of the art facility of 200,000 square feet on 65 acres. CBM is situated a mere 20 minutes from a major international airport, and three hours from “Port of Entry”.

Technical Rebuild

Precision Parts Manufacturer

Our Technician Department has a combined experience of over 70 years. Because we are capable of producing our own parts whether it is gears, shafts, couplings, etc….. we are able to reduce lead times drastically.

CBM has a clean room that was installed for our customers who require low contamination rebuilds; a digital bearing heater and other state of the art equipment help achieve our customer needs.

Types of rebuilds CBM has performed:

Gear Boxes, Lightning Mixers, Hydro-pulpers, Rotary feeders (valves), refiners, Hydraulic presses, Drive shafts, Jack Shafts, Bark rotors, Chip feeders, and Coal feeders.

Here is an outline of how a rebuild is serviced:

1. Photo documentation of arriving part to include disassembly photos.
2. All fits checked to OEM specs
3. Detailed quote given to bring unit to OEM like new condition, quote to include price of part for comparison.
4. Photo documentation of reassembly in CBM clean room (if required).
5. Test run and vibration analysis completed on each part if required.
6. All documentation collected for records and copy given to customer.
7. Ship back unit - most rebuilds 4-6 weeks and rush 24hrs service is available if needed.
8. Each part comes with a 1 year warranty from date of install.
